Transforming outdated office space in Ballarat.
Client Story:
Garden State Insurance, led by Managing Director David Jellett, purchased a 20 + year old outdated and tired office space on Level 1 of 53 Lydiard Street South in Ballarat. David Jellett having worked with Office Vision previously, he reached out to us knowing he could put his trust on us with the goal to revitalise the 650m2 space whilst maintaining the existing layout and offices, and to create an inviting, modern, and on-brand environment for both staff and clients.
The design brief emphasised natural lighting and the creation of a vibrant, fresh, pleasant, modern, and on-brand workspace. The challenge was to achieve this transformation within a specified timeframe and budget.
Office Vision was tasked with providing comprehensive services, including space planning, interior design, and a full fitout. The scope covered demolition, partitioning, ceilings, painting, electrical work, mechanical systems, floor coverings, joinery, and furniture.
We worked closely and collaboratively with David Jellett to achieve their overall objectives, putting in full glass partitioning to bring in more natural light and give it a modern look and using the chosen colour palette of green, grey, and white, complemented by oak timber accents, to create a corporate and modern atmosphere. This design strategy not only aligned with the brand but also added a welcoming texture for both staff and clients.
The revamped space at Garden State Insurance achieved its goal of providing a bright, vibrant, and modern ambiance. The project enhanced the workplace’s value, attracting and retaining talent and positioning the company for future growth and development.
